Don’t have a LawPay account yet? Sign up here, it’s FREE for MyCase customers, just pay LawPay’s competitive processing fees.

How do I set up the integration?

If you are not a LawPay customer, you may sign up for an account here. Once you have an account, proceed with the following steps:

Step 1:

Go to the Integrations & Apps page in MyCase and click "connect to LawPay" on our LawPay integration card.

Step 2:

Login to your LawPay account by entering your username and password.

Step 3:

Designate which of your accounts in LawPay are trust or operating in MyCase. Then, click to connect.

Please note that if you have more than one trust and/or operating account in LawPay, you will need to contact to add these additional accounts to MyCase.

Step 4:

You're all set! You can leverage various features, workflows, and reports in MyCase for billing and invoicing, all while your LawPay account processes these transactions.

What happens after I integrate?

Your LawPay client card information will be available in MyCase to easily collect payments from your clients to pay invoices or make trust deposits. View this article to see how you can easily find your saved LawPay cards in MyCase.

All new payments for invoices, in office, newly entered or LawPay saved cards will be processed using LawPay payments. Therefore your new LawPay processing fees will apply. To see these fees login to your LawPay account and navigate to statements.

What if I had MyCase Payments Before?

All of your saved card information, scheduled payments, payments plans, etc will continue to process and be available for you to use. Please note that you will continue to pay your MyCase payments processing fees for these transactions.

What are the benefits of integrating?

  1. Leverage LawPay's robust payment pages

  2. Surcharging functionality (can be enabled by request)

  3. Ability to reconcile LawPay payments to your MyCase invoices, requested funds and trust accounts

  4. Pay Later option

How much does LawPay cost?

LawPay is free for MyCase customers, just pay processing fees.

How do I get a LawPay account?

I have Pay Later in LawPay. Will this work in MyCase even after I integrate?

Yes it will work. However at this time, you will need to opt in to Pay Later on your MyCase account. You can do this in MyCase Settings > Client Billing & Invoice Settings and click opt-in or contact support at or 800-459-5798.
