Changing My Automatic Logout Time

For security reasons, if your MyCase account is idle for a certain period of time, you will be automatically logged out.

For your security, MyCase is designed to automatically log you out if your account is idle for a certain period of time. By default, this duration is set to 10 minutes of inactivity. However, you can change the auto-logout time or even disable it completely, giving you full control over your account's security settings.

To change or disable the auto-logout duration:

  1. Open Settings and select All Settings

  2. Click My Settings

  3. Click the Edit Preferences button

  4. Under Automatic Logout, select the drop-down menu to change the Logout time.

  5. To disable it completely, check the Disabled radio button

  6. Click Save Preferences
